Position: Director – Teaching & Learning Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Oversee academic writing programs and create relevant learning materials.
- Assist students in reaching their full academic potential by providing support and guidance.
- Collaborate with faculty to enhance teaching practices and the overall learning environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- PhD in English from a reputable tertiary institution, with strong competence in academic writing.
- Professional Certification:
- An internationally recognized English language teaching certificate such as Cambridge CELTA or Trinity TESOL.
- Work Experience:
- Minimum of three years of post-teaching qualification work experience, preferably in a Higher Education Institution (HE) or in English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
- Skills and Expertise:
- Proven ability in academic writing and development of teaching and learning materials.
- Proficiency in IT, especially in Office applications and internet-based tasks.
- Excellent administrative, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong passion for helping students excel academically.
