The Uttarakhand Association of Ghana (UAG) celebrated the 25th Foundation Day of Uttarakhand State with great excitement and pride in Accra. The event brought together members of the Indian community and friends from Ghana to honor Uttarakhand’s culture and traditions.
The evening featured beautiful cultural performances, including traditional dances and songs from Uttarakhand, showcasing the state’s rich heritage. The performances reflected the beauty, spirituality, and warmth of the people from the hill state known as “Devbhoomi.”
As part of the celebration, UAG also honored participants from India Fest 2025. They were presented with certificates and gifts to recognize their contribution to promoting Indian art and culture in Ghana.
The event created a joyful and festive atmosphere filled with unity and togetherness. It reminded everyone of the strong cultural bond shared by Indians living abroad and the importance of keeping traditions alive, even far from home.
UAG leaders thanked all guests, performers, and supporters for making the celebration a success. The program ended with a message of harmony and friendship between India and Ghana, highlighting the association’s ongoing efforts to build cultural bridges.
