The Indian Association of Ghana, Accra, proudly invites devotees and the wider community to participate in the Indian Association Navratri Programme October 2026 at the Indian Association Temple in Osu, Accra.
Established in 1939, The Indian Association of Ghana continues to bring the community together through cultural, religious, and traditional celebrations.
This year’s Navratri celebrations in Accra feature daily Mata Puja, Kirtan, Bhajan, Aarti, Havan, Bhog, Pallav, and other devotional activities throughout the festive period.
All are welcome to join with family and friends and seek the blessings of Mata Rani.

🪔 Indian Association Navratri Programme Schedule
11th October 2026 – Sunday
The Navratri celebrations begin with Kalash Stapmna, Navgrah Puja, Aarti, Bhog, Pallav, Havan, and evening Kirtan.
- 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM : Kalash Stapmna, Navgrah Puja, Aarti, Bhog, Pallav
- 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM : Havan
- 7:30 PM – 8:15 PM : Kirtan
- 8:15 PM – 8:30 PM : Kshama Prarthana, Bhog, Pallav, Jaikara
12th – 17th October 2026 – Monday to Saturday
Daily morning and evening devotional programmes will be held at the Indian Association Temple.
- 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM : Mata Puja
- 7:30 PM – 8:15 PM : Kirtan
- 8:15 PM – 8:30 PM : Kshama Prarthana, Aarti, Bhog, Pallav, Jaikara
🌺 18th October 2026 – Sunday | AATAMI DAY
A special day of devotion and community gathering featuring Mata Navgrah Puja, Havan, Kanya Feeding, Bhajan, Aarti, and Langar.
- 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM : Mata Navgrah Puja, Aarti, Bhog, Pallav
- 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM : Havan
- 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM : Kanya Feeding – Upstairs
- 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM : Bhajan
- 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM : Aarti, Bhog, Pallav, Jaikara
- 1:30 PM onwards : Langar – Downstairs
🙏 19th October 2026 – Monday | NOAMI DAY
The evening session at the Indian Association Temple includes devotional Bhajan, Aarti, Bhog, Pallav, and Jaikara.

- 7:30 PM – 8:15 PM : Bhajan
- 8:15 PM – 8:30 PM : Aarti, Bhog, Pallav and Jaikara
🏠 Noami Day – Special Programme
A special Noami Day programme will also be held at the residence of Mr. Raja Bhojwani and Mrs. Geeta Bhojwani in Asylum Down.
